Losing a pet is an emotionally challenging experience. For many, pets are not just animals; they are family members who...
Heavenly Pastures uphold the highest of standards when it comes to managing the collection and cremation of pets.
Our Standards
- Animals are handled with dignity and respect as far as we possibly can.
- We cover the Lancashire, Cheshire and Merseyside regions. Collections, if required, are made promptly and usually within two to three hours of receiving the request, unless we agree an alternative timeline with the owner.
- Our collection vehicle will always arrive empty for the collection of your pet.
- All vehicles will be covered and be leak-proof.
- Our collection vehicle, and our staff’s equipment, clothing, and footwear will be clean and hygienic.
- We will comply with all the relevant legislation, including the completion of an Animal By-Products Regulation transfer document to cover the collection of the remains and the final destination premises. We will also cover the movement of the ashes to us and their safe return to the owner, where applicable. We will retain a copy of this document for six years.
- The transfer document will be fully completed with the owners’ name, address and contact number, plus the pet’s name. The transfer document will accompany the animal’s remains at all times.
- At all times the person carrying out the collection will be sympathetic, compassionate and patient with the owner.
- Any concerns or complaints regarding our standards of service should be brought to our attention in writing or by telephone and we will handle them sensitively and professionally.
