Responsible pet owners do their best to make sure that they are prepared and know what to do in the event of their’ companion’s sudden death or necessary euthanasia. This means that you do not have the additional stress and worry of having to organise cremation arrangements in the midst of grief.

Knowing where to turn for practical and compassionate end of life advice is of great importance. It means that your faithful companion’s death is dealt with in a humane and sensitive way, in accordance with your wishes. Heavenly Pastures can collect your pet if needed, within a few hours in the Cheshire, Merseyside or Lancashire area. We offer a respectful, sympathetic and compassionate service.

Notification of your pet’s death

Within 30 days of your loss, you should inform your veterinary practice, dental practice, and physiotherapist in order to prevent appointment reminders in the future.

Cremation Options

Along with your wishes, we can offer you a cost-effective cremation or an individual cremation with your pet’s ashes being returned to you. The choice is yours, and we are able to take a respectful approach to meet your circumstances, personal preference and budget. If you choose an individual cremation, we will return your companion’s ashes to you in a scatter tube or you can choose to upgrade to a beautiful oak casket with a brass nameplate engraved with their name. Whatever you choose, we will handle your pet with the utmost professionalism and respect.

					I just need to thank the team for their care and compassion whilst looking after our beloved horse Danny. From speaking to Lynne on the phone to arrange his journey, all the way to his return home by personal courier.

I need to acknowledge the contribution made by Oliver who returned Danny home he was a pleasure to talk with at what was for us a very difficult time.

					Friendly, honest people. I spoke to Oliver and Vicky on the phone and we met Lynne who were all extremely patient and accommodating. Nothing too much effort. We asked if they could take a nose print from our girl Sanda and it is perfect. We will definitely recommend Heavenly Pastures and would use again. Thank you to you all for being so lovely x

					I recently got my pet tortoise Bobo cremated last week as she sadly passed away suddenly. I didn’t know where to start as I didn’t know if it would be possible to do a cremation for a tortoise. I contacted heavenly pastures and within minutes I got a response from Vicky who was extremely helpful and kind. She got picked up the next morning (Tuesday) and was returned to me by Friday by Oliver who was lovely and so respectful. I am so greatful by all for their help and returning my girl back to me at this sad time. Thank you again

					I wholeheartedly recommend their services to anyone going through the loss of a pet. Ollie was excellent even came and picked her up on a Saturday evening, The process was gentle and thoughtful from start to finish. 					I would just like to show my appreciation and could not thank you enough for the service you provided in such a difficult time of my life. I lost my Simba on the same day as experiencing another great loss. You went above and beyond to ensure all my requests were meet. Such as saving some off his fair, a part of the blanket he was cremated in and his paw prints. He is now resting in his favourite spot in my son’s bedroom on the window. We could not recommend you enough. Once again thank you very much for all your help and support during such a horrific time of my life.

					Can’t put into words how much I would recommend heavenly pastures. They have been amazing. From the first phone call I knew my girl would be in safe hands. I first spoke to Oliver who was just fantastic. He explained everything and offered much needed comfort and support. I then spoke to Lucy who was just as kind and supportive. I was notified when Mildred was in their care which brought me comfort.  Within 48 hours of loosing Mildred she was brought back home to us by Oliver who was just brilliant. He took time to talk to me about Mildred and I appreciate that so much. The casket is beautiful and the engraving is perfect. Thank you so much for everything you made a very difficult time that little bit easier.

					I feel compelled to leave a review for Heavenly Pastures because not only do I want them to know how wonderful they are… but for, sadly, future clients if they find themselves having to make this very difficult decision.

Heartbreakingly, our first dog of 14 years passed away unexpectedly on the morning of bank holiday Monday. I was distraught, and not knowing what to do, especially with it being bank holiday Monday, I rang Heavenly Pastures.

Oliver answered the phone and was really compassionate whilst I sobbed down the phone. He collected our little Bella in just over half an hour of making the decision, talked to me… giving me his own experiences and gave me all the time I needed to sadly let her go. Oliver promised me that he’ll look after her like she was his own whilst she had to be away from home. This brought so much reassurance to us.

Lucy and Oliver offered me different options and followed our every wish. In hindsight I wish I had took them up on washing her bed and blanket but I didn’t feel ready.

I was also told when her little cremation would be so that I could sit and just “be.”

Absolutely nothing was too much for them.

Oliver brought her home to me Thursday, again, not rushing me whilst I broke my heart on the doorstep.

He has done such a wonderful job of her beautiful casket, paw prints, and bottling little vials of her fur and ashes for us. Also, trying to match it to our horse’s casket for us which was very special and a really lovely thought.

This is the most trust I have put in anybody and was very hard for me to do but I’m so glad that I did.

Forever grateful for them during one of the most painful times in our lives.

Thank you so much, from the bottom of our hearts. I’m thankful that you were here at the end of our little Bella’s journey.
