Should you wish to spend time with your pet before anything proceeds, that can be set up, whether at the surgery or later at our own site. There is a chapel of rest at Burscough and a good many families are glad to know that option exists, having assumed collection was the end of it.

You Do Not Have to Decide That Day

People are sometimes asked to choose between cremation options at the practice desk, minutes after the worst news, while still standing in a corridor. Saying that you will telephone tomorrow is perfectly reasonable, and any operator worth the name accepts it without pressing. This is among the very few choices here with no way back from it.

The Two Services

Where an individual cremation service is chosen, your animal goes through by itself, and only that makes handing ashes over afterwards possible. A communal cremation service puts a group through as one, with no family receiving anything. The same few people carry out both to a single standard. Where a practice offers to handle everything, it is worth asking which of the two their arrangement covers, because families do sometimes discover afterwards that they agreed to something other than what they assumed.
