The Hill Walk That Is Suddenly Pointless

Dogs raised on this side of Cheshire tend to have spent their lives climbing. The park along the river, the forest tracks, the long pull up onto open ground. What families report afterwards is that the house adjusts within a fortnight and the hill does not. Everything up there is exactly as it was, arranged precisely as it stood on the last ordinary Sunday, with only the animal absent. Our usual times fall Monday to Friday, and anything past them runs on a separate footing with an additional charge. Should a pet die during the evening and first light be soon enough, waiting is the cheaper course and risks nothing at all. Somewhere cool and out of the way until morning is genuinely everything that is needed.
