Some households prefer to make the journey rather than wait in, precisely because it means seeing where their animal is going. It is a straightforward run out along the motorway. Somebody meets you at the door instead of pointing you at a reception to sit in. Take somebody with you if there is anybody to take. It is the drive home that families describe as the hard part, and doing it alone in a silent car asks a great deal of a person.

If You Would Rather Not

What Happens Out of Sight

Your animal is marked from the point they come into our care, and that marking remains physically with them throughout, paperwork accompanying it. That is the basis on which we are willing to state that the ashes returned are your own animal’s. The Two Services

Where an individual cremation service is chosen, nothing else goes through with your animal, and that is what permits ashes to return. Under a communal cremation service several are dealt with at once and no family gets anything back. One team does each of them to the same standard. You are welcome to visit the chapel of rest whichever has been chosen, since the two things are separate decisions entirely.

Particular Wishes

Some households need particular things observed around timing or handling, and being told beats us guessing every time. Mention whatever matters on the telephone. Where something can be done it simply will be, and where it cannot we will say so plainly rather than agreeing on the telephone and disappointing you on the day, which is much the worse outcome.

Coming Out to You

Where waiting in suits better, collection is the ordinary arrangement. Name the hour and somebody arrives then. Nothing wants readying beforehand and nobody at your end should take any weight. Several of the older villas here have been divided into flats with shared stairs, and that is routine work rather than an obstacle. Nobody in the middle of this should be carrying an animal down a communal staircase. An animal that died at a surgery is collected from there, so no return journey falls to anybody.

What It Costs

Everything appears on the pet cremation price list rather than being given out privately, so nothing about money need be raised aloud. Weight governs the cremation charge, since a large dog occupies the chamber a good deal longer than a small one does. Travel is billed separately by the length of the journey from Burscough, mapped on the areas we cover page, and driving over yourself removes it.

Beyond the Working Week

Standard hours sit Monday to Friday, with anything outside arranged apart at extra cost. Where a pet goes late in the day and morning is bearable, morning is the cheaper route and forfeits nothing at all. Keep them somewhere cool and undisturbed until then.
