It Does Not Have to Fall on One Person

Where an animal belonged to a household rather than an individual, or where family members elsewhere want to contribute, that is easily arranged and happens regularly. Nobody has to shoulder the whole thing quietly because raising it felt awkward, and the conversation is a good deal less uncomfortable had at the start than settled up between relatives afterwards.

Several people can contribute rather than one person paying and then chasing the others. Say so when you ring and it can be handled that way from the outset, which is considerably simpler than settling up between yourselves afterwards and avoids anybody having to send anybody else a figure at a bad moment. When Money Is Genuinely Short

What Actually Determines the Price

Three things, none of them concealed. First and by far the largest, which of the two services is chosen. The weight of your animal, since a big dog occupies the chamber far longer than a small one. And whether we collect, which is priced by how long the run from Burscough takes. The Two Services

An individual cremation service means your animal alone throughout, which is why ashes can be returned. A communal cremation service means several cremated as a group and nothing goes back to any household. Identical care in both cases, from the same few people at the same site. Plenty of families take the communal route for reasons entirely unconnected with cost, and taking it because of cost concerns nobody except you. Nothing at this end records or enquires into why any household decided as it did.

New Flats and Older Streets

Ordsall holds new apartment buildings and long-standing terraced housing within a short walk of each other, and collection works perfectly well in either. Neither presents any difficulty provided we know in advance what we are coming to. Where a building has a service lift or a rear entrance, say so on the telephone and that is the route we will take rather than crossing a lobby while residents come and go. Where a front door opens onto the pavement with nowhere to stop, that is our problem and we will park nearby and walk in.

Coming Out to You

Name whichever hour suits your household, evenings included, since a good many people here cannot take time out of a working day. Nothing needs preparing beforehand, no animal should be lifted by anybody living there, and an awkward position is entirely ours to resolve rather than something to find help with. Along the Water

Generations of dogs from these streets have lived out their days on the riverside paths and the ground toward the basin. Water and towpath do not alter from one year to the next, so all of it lies exactly as it lay, and the single thing missing is what used to walk beside you. That is generally harder to face than the empty flat. Being unable to go down there a fortnight on is entirely usual, and no schedule says when you ought to manage it.

Outside Ordinary Hours

Standard times fall within the working week, with anything beyond that arranged separately at additional cost. Where an animal dies late in the day and the following morning is bearable, morning costs you less and takes nothing away at all.
